For "The Curves Challenge," The Tyra Banks Show gave five women five weeks and their own Curves trainers to lose weight and reach their fitness goals. Thousands entered on Tyrashow.com for a chance to become one of five finalists competing for the grand prize trip for two. Each woman’s weight loss progress was tracked on the co-branded microsite, and they shared their stories via the “Curves Challenge Blog.” The competition culminated in the “Curves Spectacular” reveal show, where the finalists and their trainers discussed their results, the grand prize winner was announced and the studio audience took home Curves gift bags. As a result of Tyra’s on-air mentions, online traffic spiked by 204%.
