Uncle Ben’s teamed up with Rachael Ray for the fourth annual “Hey, Can You Cook?!” contest, a four-week integration. Contestants incorporated Uncle Ben’s “Ready Rice” into their recipes for the introductory Disney Cruise ship challenge and the “final showdown.” On-air, Uncle Ben’s received branded billboards, the product integration and additional mentions. Online, a co-branded microsite featured exclusive ad placement, photo and video galleries, recipe pages and a customized Uncle Ben’s “FoodFlipFlop” game. The online campaign is expected to deliver nearly 100 million impressions for Uncle Ben’s over its six-month duration.
