Scrubs focuses on the bizarre experiences of fresh-faced medical intern John “J.D.” Dorian (Zach Braff) as he embarks on his healing career in a surreal hospital crammed full of unpredictable staffers and patients—where humor and tragedy can merge paths at any time. The show earned its first nomination outstanding comedy nomination at the Emmys, along with an outstanding lead actor nomination for Zach Braff. One of television’s most upscale comedies made its syndication debut in Fall 2006.
